It's A Frog's Life Acoustic Podcast

Graham Holland, podcaster from Liverpool, UK

About Me

My name's Graham Holland and I live in the wonderful city of Liverpool, UK. I'm into 'stuff' including Scouting (since I was 8!), poetry and acoustic music (I host the Come Strut Your Stuff event), songwriting, website building, and podcasting. My personal website is at itsafrogslife.net and has more info about me, and links to the websites I've built.

I host the It's A Frog's Life Acoustic Podcast. On the show I play acoustic music from UK artists, or artists based here in the UK. You can find it at itsafrogslife.net/podcast

The top twelve friends in my profile are always given to the artists featured on the last two podcast shows. If an artist hasn't got a MySpace account then the place is filled by another friend on a whim... (or a bribe)
The rest of the places are some of the cool podcasts that I listen to. Why not check them out?
Remember, you DON'T need an iPod to listen to podcasts!!!

My Interests

follow itsafrogslife at http://twitter.com Scouting, acoustic music, songwriting, reading, podcasting, watching TV, going to the gym (cripes!), travel, anything to do with Taiwan, good food, website building, and various other stuff.

I'd like to meet:

WLTM? I suppose I'd like to meet local acoustic musicians who wouldn't mind their music being featured on my podcast. Please note, on my podcast I only play UK musicians, or musicians based here in the UK.I'd also like to meet any other local podcasters to compare notes and swap ideas.

Music:

Do I really have to fill this bit in? My tastes in music are quite eclectic, from rock 'n roll to classical, from CCM (that's Contemporary Christian Music such as All Star United, one of my MySpace friends) to acoustic.

Through putting my podcast together I've discovered some brilliant acoustic artists I never knew existed, such as Invocal, Dropkick, Walter Wall and (well, just take a look at my podcast shownotes - I only play the music I like!).

I'm a sucker for a bit of humour in music, and I'm a fan of Flanders and Swann, Tom Lehrer, and Jake Thackray.

I have the highest possible respect for a singer and songwriter called Leon Rosselson who is the most talented crafter of words and music I know of. Muchos Kudos, Leon.

Television:

Lost (now 'lost' to cable viewers thanks to Sky), Doctor Who, Torchwood, I'm a fair-weather Trekker (semi-retired), Cracker, Monkey Dust (is season two every going to be released onto DVD?), Mile High (RIP), Hotel Babylon, Hustle, Spooks, Smallville (can't believe I have to wait so long for the new season...), Blackadder, The Simpsons
