Hi, hope you..re well!Born in 1967, I grew up with real Bands.
I mean, those people played their instruments on their own!
Hard to believe, isn..t it? ;-)
My brothers used to play ( Drums and Bassguitar ) , so I decided to try it as well.
This was back in 1981/82, and I..m still trying...Through the years, I played in several bands, started with a Blues Band for almost nine years, then tried with my brother for some time, Blues as well, and then met a couple of people at our fav..rite bar, and we had a JamSession, only for one evening.
Cool, a bit of hardrock ( Deep Purple stuff, UFO ) and some other tunes like T.Rex, Status Quo, Allanah Miles etc.
As I said, it only was "planned" for this particular evening, so it was called ONE NIGHT STAND.
This happened ten years ago, the Band is still going strong ;-)Don..t hesitate to visite the site:http://www.hardrock-onenightstand.deRoundabout ten years ago, I met Martin Engelien, a german bassplayer ( Klaus Lage Band ), who introduced the GoMusic JamSessions to me.
There he plays with Guys like Pete Haycock ( ELO, Climax Blues Band ), T.M. Stevens, Mel Gaynor, Glen Turner etc.
So, once a month they/we meet at different locations for jamming, playin.. the old time rock..n roll, funky stuff, whatever comes around.You are invited to have a look at the fan site as well:http://www.gmfc.de
