Founded in early 2004, Mofo made the shit happen. In less than 6 months they created a setlist of 8 songs, none of them cover songs, and produced a professional 3 Track demo CD. The alternative punk & rock sound is not trying to fit into a box but at the same time, sounds familiar.
In February 2006, drummer Uwe left the band. After a hard time looking for an adequate replacement they found Pascal N. from the horrorpunkband " The Other ". Known there as " Dr. Caligari " he was "mofized" within short and in less than 4 months the band created 6 new wicked songs in addition to the existing set. Pascals awesome skills made the songs more dynamic and powerful and lifted the music to a whole new level.
The hard work of these 5 young men from Leverkusen, Germany was rewarded by winning the "Lauter Lev" award, the city of Leverkusen announces every year. With this award -Mofo- won recordings at the Spaceclub Studios as well as the production of 300 CD's. These recordings resulted in their debut "Planet Mofo" which is about to be released in October 2006 combined with an asskicking party you shouldn't miss.
