Savage Grace

This is an unofficial Savage Grace speed metal band memorabilia/fan page ! Purpose of this page is to spread the uniqueness and quality of Savage Grace music.Savage Grace was formed by guitarist Christian Logue and bassist Brian East (B. East) in Los Angeles, California in 1981. The original band's name is said that was "Marquis De Sade".They appeared, as Savage Grace, on Metal Massacre II, a compilation on Brian Slagel's METAL BLADE label in 1982 with the song "Scepters of Deceit".Their first album was a 5 song EP entitled The Dominatress (released on picture disk also) again on METAL BLADE in 1983. This release featured Kenny Powell on guitars, who left soon after to form Omen. In 1986 they recorded the masterpiece album Master of Disguise, which is known to be their best album.The band also was featured on the Speed Metal Hell compilation album in 1985 with the song "Master of Disguise" and "Fear my way".After The Fall From Grace was their last full length album,recorded in 1986 and their last release was the Ride Into The Night picture EP in 1987 which nowadays is hard to find.After the last release they toured in the U.S. and Europe before they disbanded. Recently, BLACK DRAGON Records in France has re-released the first three releases on CD for the first time.
