About Me

/So I go back and forth between writing first person bios and third person bios...the pendulum has swung again and we’re back to first person =)As it was written before, Atlanta has been my home for the last three and a half years, three of which I’ve made some big musical leaps. I received most of my vocal training between high school and college and started out at Florida State University as a vocal performance major. Fast forward to 2004 and I get started with Heidi Higgins at Jan Smith Vocal Studio where they start to hone me into more of a pop-artists and more contemporary songwriter. That’s where the fun began. I’ve currently "released" a four song EP that you can hear on MySPace however I will be working on something full length once the right pieces of the puzzle fall into place. As it were I’ve had tremendous support from family and friends as well as other artists and musicians. It is sort of weird to brag about yourself but I’ve been often compared to the likes of Norah Jones and Alicia Keys even Joss Stone (not bad!) but I want a style that people can emulate, and want to emulate. So we shall see where that takes me. This year is going to be rockin’ and I get to jam along with the song!
