Hindsight

Born in early 2008, hindsight is a four piece rock and roll ensemble from upstate South Carolina. At this point, most people begin to scratch their heads trying to figure out what kind of rock and roll these rowdy boys are exactly…could they be alternative? Bluesy? Progressive? Latin-jazz? After all of this genre gleaning, one usually cannot come up with one simple response, and that is because they are an amalgamation of all these things and more! From the singer songwriter and jazz aficionados to the progressive rhythm machines and biblical low end, Hindsight has everything necessary to get the crowd going!
Born out of Justin Smith’s desire to have a killer rock band, he brought in drummer Robbie smith from Sunset Crush, Matt Alley from Winthrop University’s esteemed music program, and Will Moore from MySpace, and thus began the rock and roll life cycle. After realizing that they were great, building their set list was the first issue at hand. The songs they have picked to present to audiences all across America were hand selected by each member of the band. Hindsight like to pick out memorable tunes from the past so that their audience can participate in the moment, while also delivering fresh out of the oven original material guaranteed to make a dove cry (no Prince pun intended).
After many rigorous and daunting practice sessions, Hindsight finally got their chance to prove themselves live at a battle of the bands! However, their set was cut short due to a power failure. Now many people speculate as to why the power failed on that fateful day, could it have been a bird in a power line? A child being electrocuted by a generator? Or maybe even the very hand of god? All speculation aside, they were probably just too awesome and Will left the band because of said awesomeness and was replaced the next day by some other guy named Adam Brownlee. Nobody knows much about him or where he comes from (probably from where all bassplayers come from...failed guitar lessons j/k) but he can really play....all four of those strings.
Hindsight currently consists of all of the original members, and have an hour or two of songs written to please. We also like to jam. A lot.
