RhyMen consists of two high school friends and former basketball teammates Sam Dever “SJD†and Marcus Offutt “MOA.†The two first met at the local YMCA in their hometown of Canton, IL when MOA moved to from California. Their mutual love and passion for Hip-Hop music was quickly acknowledged and a vow was made to to achieve great levels of success making music together. The two continued to enhance their emcee and production skills until they were ready to take their game to the next level. With that done, RhyMen and Extra Credit Records was born.RhyMen only raps and talks about things they know, have experienced, or are pursuing in life. SJD and MOA discuss serious issues, real life situations, and of course crack jokes by throwing in their sense of humor into their music. These two young, ambitious individuals apply their relentless work ethic and high-energy level to their music by giving everything they’ve got on stage and in the studio.
