Dave Rees’s first interest in Techno music was formed many years ago when he started taping the legendary Dave Clarke sets from the radio 1 essential mixes. From 1994 to present day they still influence his sets in a big way.
Once he looked old enough to enter clubs, mainly Atomic Jam & House of God in Birmingham UK, his interest grew stronger and stronger in the Techno scene around the planet. Word of mouth got him hooked on the crazy outdoor party scene in the welsh mountains that opened a huge network of friends and fellow DJ’s. Having attended many of the clubs and parties in the UK, Dave soon became a popular figure within these circles, he started his vast collection of Techno vinyl way before he purchased his very first set of Technics Decks, so once he took delivery of his decks there was no stopping him!! Having a massive amount of Techno influences from around the globe, Dave is now making his own mixes and trying to reach out to the people who matter the most to him. Dave has traveled around Europe from club’s to event’s to party’s, gathering more and more knowledge of what the Techno scene is all about not just in and around the UK. Dave’s collection of Techno has been rated by top artist’s as the ultimate collection of classics that have rocked the dance floors in many Techno shows around the world.
