New to the Chester District, Twisted offers an upbeat mix of house music, minimal, techno and 'fidgetty' Electro. With the next installment on the 12th of April seeing Easy from the legendary Chester night Surgey gracing the City Bar decks once again, the organisers are hopeful that Chester will witness a night not often seen this side of Liverpool.
Twisted is keen to become a familar face on the Chester house scene, and is hopeful they can bring some big names to the City over the next 12 months.
Twisted are also now crossing the water into Liverpool!Twisted's Liverpool debut will be held on the 3rd May at the legendary Lemon Lounge and headlining is one of liverpools most exciting talents, chibuku resident, Leo Belchetz.
Also joinging the Twisted Residents are special guests Jev Wilday, Gemma Arnott & Lee Ager

Rich Banks
Style: House & Techno
Rich started Djing at the age of 14. Through his early years he has touched on a number of different styles before finding his real passion in house and techno. Rich is influenced heavily by Daft Punk, Danny Howells and Loco Dice. In 2007, along with Dan Corner and younger brother Jon Banks, Rich lanched his own night. Twisted is held in Chester's hub for underground house, the city bar. Twisted is currently going from strength to strength. Richs skills have already been noticed over the water here he has played for ETC on the same bill as Glenn Morrison. Rich is also in the process of bringing his night across the water, as an addition to his monthly residency in Chester.
Jon Banks
Style: House, Electro,
Jon's DJ tuiton came from the watchful eye of his older brother, twisted resident Rich Banks. From this he has developed his own unique style, which is constantly improving. Jon has touched on a number of styles over the last few years. He has been playing bars across Liverpool and Cheshire since he was 16. Jon now plays a mixture of house and main-room 'fidgetty' electro. Since starting his night Twisted in Chester, Jon has enjoyed playing out in Liverpool a lot more. 2008 has seen him play with Mike Miller at Freeze and for ETC on the same bill as Glenn Morrison. Jon is a very keen producer and his sets often feature his own unique sound because of this.
Dan Corner
Style: House, Techno
Dan first came into contact with a pair of turntables at the age of 16. As a big fan of hip-hop for almost 10 years it surprised Dan as much as anyone else when he developed a passion for underground house and techno. After spending many weekends travelling the country to see various DJs and developing his skills behind the decks - Dan decided to launch his own night. Disappointed with the current house music cliamte in Chester, along with Rich & Jon Banks, Dan launched Twisted. A monthly event, usually held in the city bar. The night has grown from strength to strength, twisted's Liverpool debut is currently booked for May 08. Dan's influences include Danny Howells, Luciano, Sven Vath and Villalobos.
