Naghmey (Prononcez Narmé) qui en Perse, Arabe et Hindi,
Signifie mélodie, est une jeune auteur, compositeur, interprète, slameuse.
Originaire du Sénégal, Cap Vert et Mali, c'est à Paris qu'elle forge ses armes.
Passionnée par les voyages, influencée par la soul et imprégné de l'Afrique, elle ira puiser son inspiration à New York puis Accra.
Tel un griot dont la force réside dans le savoir, la sagesse et l'esprit, Naghmey fait danser les mots par ses slams engagés dans un univers musical métissé.
Adolescente elle baigne dans la culture hip hop et se
découvre des facilités pour l'écriture. Elle rencontre
Le guitariste Hervé Doin qui l'initiera au jazz.
Fascinée par cet univers, elle décide de se
perfectionner et se forme à l'Atla auprès de Viviane Ginapé (chanteuse de jazz et bossa nova).
En 2006 en quète d'authenticité, Naghmey s'installe
au Ghana, ou elle s'initie aux rythmes, danses et chants
traditionnels Ashanti et Ewé. Elle devient la choriste
d'Ebo Taylor, chanteur, guitariste, et compositeur de
musique highlife, blues et afrobeat.
Des son retour à paris, elle rencontre le
Percussionniste burkinabé Auguste Manly et le
guitariste Julien Ribeill avec qui elle prépare un
premier album slam.

Teenager she grew up with the hip hop culture and discovered facilities to write. She meets the guitarist Herve Doin who will initiate her with the jazz. Fascinated by this universe, She decides to improve and is formed in Atla ( music shool in paris) with Viviane Ginapé (jazz and bossa nova singer). In 2006 in search of authenticity, Naghmey settles in Ghana, where she is initiated at the traditional Ashanti and Ewé rates, rhythms, dances and songs. It becomes the back singer of Ebo Taylor, singer, guitarist, and composer of music highlife, blues and afrobeat. As soon as She return in Paris, she meets the Burkinabe Percussionist Auguste Manly and the guitarist Julien Ribeill with whom she prepare a First album between spoken words and song.
