A funny thing happened during the summer of 2006. In preperation of representing the inaugural Black Pearl Poetry National Team, ED MABREY & WILLIAM EVANS realized they had some sort of spark. Not one of those long walks and defend each others honor type of sparks, but more like saying, "That's funny, I think John Singleton is overrated too" in unison type of sparks.
A lot of poems, a few duets and countless Stewie Griffin quotes later, Ed and Will developed "ED. WILL. SPEAK", a two-man show that unfolds like Abbot & Costello. With poetry. And some politics. And black people.
Ed Mabrey & William Evans boast many accomplishments (mostly Ed's) & full heads of hair (mostly Will's).
