This Trini poet, has made his mark in NYC as a Graphic Designer and Spoken Word Artist. He was blessed to Co-Host a monthly poetry open mic series with Jeffery Feller at the legendary NUYORICAN POETS CAFE (2004). With his passionate word flow, he has been a Semi-Finalist at the Louder Arts BAR 13 reading series, a 2X GRAND SLAM FINALIST and (2008) Team member at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe. 2X GRAND SLAM FINALIST @ Urbana-BoweryPoetryClub, making the URBANA TEAM, NOW RANKED 6TH in the Nation via the National Poetry Slam held in Austin TX (2007). All the while designing and producing artwork for the likes of MTV, Ecko Unlimited, recording artist Pharoahe Monch and Zap Mama, to internationally known poets such as Bryon Bain and Ainsley Burrows. Rico truly believes that with a strong work ethic, a creative mind, and friends that believe in you. Anything is possible. Let the work speak for itself. HOLLA HARD.
