About Me
PoetCD.com, Inc was founded in March 2000 by Soul Thomas Evans, Al Letson, Jr., and Dwayne Rayner in response to the ever growing popularity of Slam Poetry and Spoken Word around the planet. Now headquartered in NYC with an additional office in Florida for the last 6 plus years we've had some of the leading poets and spoken word artists around the world showcase their poetry products on our secure site to provide a place to sell copies of their CDs, Books, DVDs, and Poetry Clothing and also operate as a spoken word label to promote the vanguard and the importance of spoken word in all societies. We are excited to announce as of August 2006, that Mahogany Browne (mobrowne.com), Poet and Promoter has taken over as Director of Operations for PoetCD.com.
