About Me

My name is Jason and I am 36 years old. I'm from Long Beach, CA. I'm a fan of Hard Rock/metal music and here at Rock Zone Productions I do everything in my power to help promote up and coming hard rock/metal bands/musicians/ and hot releases that I really dig and think more people need to know more about. Rock Zone Productions has been around since January of 2007 and we have come a long way since then. Here at Rock Zone Productions to help support and keep alive the hard rock/metal community that I love so much....It is my goal to discover hot, new talent and give them their chance to tell their story...Hey everyone has a story to tell and to any hard rock/metal band out there looking to tell your story contact me and I will offer you the opportunity to do an interview w/me. post a CD Review of your latest release on my site......I also like to develop a professional relationship with the bands/musicians that I cover on my site.....In some cases I have also acted as a consultant free of charge, and offered my opinions and suggestions. We have many exciting things planned for Rock Zone Productions in 2008 and beyond. Recently we have interviewed musicians from well estalbilished bands such as Tesla, Stryper, The Runaways, and Britny Fox to name just a few.....I also cover tribute bands on my site because it's been my experience that there are many overlooked tribute bands that don't often get the chance to tell their story....So if you're in an established hard rock/metal band, up and coming hard rock/metal band or hard rock/metal tribute band and would like to do an interview w/Rock Zone Productions or have a CD Reviewed please contact me and I'll get in touch with you ASAP.Jason Houston Rock Zone Productions

My Interests

I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and doing my part to support the hard rock/metal community that I love so much.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who has simmilar interest, then again I also enjoy being exposed to new things. In general anyone that enjoys going out and having a good time. I'd like to meet and hang with people who know how to laugh, smile, have a good time, and doesn't take life too seriou. My motto is we only live once so we might as well enjoy ourselves.

Music:

I love hard rock/metal music and enjoy bands as devearese as Alice In Chains/Kiss/Motley Crue/Ratt/Megadeath/and Cheap Trick to name just a few.

Movies:

I recently saw the new Rocky and I liked it. Going to the Movies and watching DVDS is something I really enjoy. I enjoy everything from comedy, dram, science fiction. I'm always looking for a good laugh so I guess you could say I favor comedy.

Television:

I'm a fan of classic comedy shows such as 3's Company, Cheers, The Jeffersons, Seinfeld, All In The Family.

Books:

I'm not much of a reader but I do enjoy reading biographies. Especially those of famous musicians. Two such books I've read that I would really recomed are The Dirt By Motley Crue and Kiss & Tell by Gene Simmons and I also really love The Heroin Diaries By Nikki Sixx.

Heroes:

Gene Simmons, Nikki Sixx, Bat Man, Spider Man. Gene Simmons and Nikki Sixx I admire because they're two people have worked very hard and lived out their dreams. I'm also a big comic book fan and enjoy seeing such movies as piderman for entertainment.
