My name is Ramona J. Sanders. I am a native of Rochester, New York. I am happily married to the LOVE of MY LIFE for almost twenty three years... God has blessed us and we are the very proud parents of three beautiful, wonderful daughters.I am the fourth born of my mother's eight children. I was raised by my Mentor and my Greatest Inspiration the late Great Evangelist Mary Lou Edith Jackson - Johnson. My mother was my best friend and she was the love of my life too... Missing my mother is unexplainable but I thank God for allowing her to raise me as she did...I want to also thank God for My Grandmother because had she not raised my mother up in the right way my mother wouldn't have raised me right. I LOVE YOU FOREVER MOMMY!!!As I forstated I am a good Wife and a good Mother, a Sister, Auntie, God-Mother, Gospel Singer, Mentor, Author, Writer, Publisher and a People Person... I will never compromise with WRONG!!! I was born and raised to do the will of the Lord. And I am a living witness of God's Miracles, Greatness and the Powerful Annoiting of his Holy Spirit. So when we meet or talk, in our conversation don't be surprised if I add something about truth in there (ha) because that's just me. I love what I do and I LOVE JESUS!!!After self- publishing my autobiography in 1999 “Why Did You Hurt Me Step-daddy� The task that I set out to do was not an easy one, but by the grace of God it was something that he's helped me with.I use to be ashamed about what happened to me. But no more am I ashamed. I can firmly say, “Hi my name is Ramona J. Sanders, I was abused as a child.†But now that I am sharing and caring I want people far and near to know that God can and will heal a scar such as this... This is not just a book I've written. It's my testimony!No one knows the pain of abuse except for those who have suffered from this traumatic experience or knows someone that is trying to deal with abuse. I have wrestled not physically, but mentally and emotionally with the “skeletons in my past†and finally I have won this battle!I can only imagine what I would be like if I had not opened myself up for God to step in and heal the wounds that I had. Don't get me wrong, there has been times I have gone back in that closet of thinking, why did this unlawful and horrible nightmare happen to me. But now I can honestly say, "THANK YOU JESUS I have moved on with my life and I am helping others to do the same".I know my books will be a tremendous blessing to those who have suffered or is still suffering from the hands of an abuser. It is my endeavor to help instill in the minds of all ages, male and female that there is a way out from abuse.
