In November of 1999, it was revealed by God unto James Andrews to bring all the youth in Indianapolis together for one night of unity and praise. On January 1st of 2000, at Grace Apostolic Church, this vision was made reality. Over one hundred young people came together to sing praises unto God. Many souls were touched and saved and the atmosphere in the church was magnificent.Two short months later, this same anointing gave vision to what would be New Seasons Ministries, also led by James Andrews. Young people from various denominations joined to be a part of this great endeavor. Since the beginning of New Seasons, God has shown great favor towards the ministry, allowing the group to see many give their lives to Christ. Traveling from Ohio to Kansas, from Detroit to Alabama, from Chicago to Memphis and Nashville, even reaching Charlotte, NC; the power of God has been witnessed to save, heal, and set free, even among the members of New Seasons.This ministry, has been favored of God, and as a result was blessed to share in ministry with such artists as: Dorinda Clark-Cole, John P. Kee, Tye Tribbett, Marvin Sapp, Rodnie Bryant, VaShawn Mitchell, Deitirck Haddon and Ron Summers. In 2006, was the awarded “The Best Choir Award’ at the Annual Singers and Musician Conference in Detroit, Michigan hosted by Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole. Also in the summer of, 2006 we’re blessed to minister at the annual V.I.P. Music & Arts Seminar hosted by Pastor John P. Kee. James and New Seasons received very high reviews from Pastor Kee, and received an invitation to be one of the up and coming gospel artists featured on his V.I.P. New Artist Showcase CD. In 2003, New Seasons was runner-up in the Radio ONE gospel showcase. Additionally, in 2002, New Seasons placed 1st in the Gospel Quest hosted by Dr. Bobby Jones. New Seasons thank God for granting them the understanding that this is not a hobby nor an activity, but a ministry that has been called for purpose, in such a time as this. This ministry however is not recognized only within the four walls of the church, but in other venues as well. They have ministered in local group homes, nursing homes, correctional facilities, and now annually at the Indiana State Fair. The ministry as a whole promotes family cohesiveness and community wellness.Though the name is New Seasons, they have an understanding that God is not performing anything “new†or wanting to do a “new thing†but God is using new vessels and a new means to reach a new generation!This is a New Season of praise and worship, a New Season of ministry and a New Season of Soul Winning, and Min. James Andrews & New Seasons is called to do just that. Through many stages, phases, storms and trials, God continues to bless New Seasons. God is anointing Min.
