HotFreeLayouts- Karena Mitchell the youngest of eight children was born in upstate New York. She began singing Gospel music in her aunts church at a very young age. Gospel music instantly became her number one love. Karena has since been on a long Musical journey which afforded her the opportunity to share the stage with such Artist as Dorinda Clark Cole, James Hall, Vickie Winans, Monique Walker, Doobie Powell and More...Along her journey Karena has study many styles of music such as Classical, Jazz and Pop. Although Karena was trained in such styles of music she developed her own soulful style. Karena's songs are so powerful her writing style is breath taking. Karena lyrics to her songs Believe, Closer to you and My Best to name a few gives hope and assurance to everyone who listens under the sound of her voice. From Her highest octave to her lowest she will leave you mesmerized. Karena has always known she was put on this earth for a reason and a season; which is why she strives to leave the message of living your purpose and dreams to all. "I believe earth is a museum"; each of us comes into the world with an assignment to fulfill, God commissions us to leave the following generations something from which they can learn and be inspired. The abilities to complete these assignments lie within us. The tools are our natural talents, gifts and ambition. This is why Karena believes she can't be limited. Although Karena's first love was Gospel music she has always known that there was so much more potential and purpose built in her. So in 1998 Karena embarked on a new adventure. She started her very own business; Kay'shons Creation & Designs. A natural hair care service and the "hottest" custom designed jewelry business in upstate New York. After only six month of business Kay'shons Creations had generated more cliental than she had dreamed. While continuing to successfully run Kay'shons, she also managed to graduate with top honors with a degree in Business Administration. Karena did not stop there because purpose would not allow it; she realized that there was much more purpose to be fulfilled. In 2004 she went back to school for early childhood development training and began teaching preschool. This opened up a door for her she didn't even see coming. While teaching preschool Karena began to create and write interactive songs to encourage mannerism, sharing and turn taking amongst her students. Her ability to work with toddlers is speechless. Karena's preschool songs such as The Teddy Bear, Please Remember All Your Manners and Colors began being sung not only in her classroom and at her school, but had rapidly become popular all over the district. This led her into the studio to complete her first preschool Cd entitled COLORS. For Many years Karena has devoted herself to understanding, activating and releasing her potential and empowering others to do the same. "I believe there is no one like you now, nor will there ever be another". Each one of us was conceived by destiny, produced by purpose and packaged with potential to live a meaningful life. Deep within you resides a seed of greatness waiting to be cultivated. It's you choice. You have the ability to accomplish everything you desire. The releasing of your potential is not up to God but you!!!!
