Released April 24, 2007 In WINGS OF GRACE (the sequel to PROMISES BEYOND JORDAN) I wrote about Biltmore Castle. After the book came out, I visited the castle and it was so neat having done so much research that I could easily be a tour guide for the place. If you want to see all my photos on Biltmore, visit my Web site by clicking any photo being cast upon the pile below.

My Interests

I used to love to sew, but I've not had much time to do that. I love music, so dancing is still something I enjoy doing. It's funny though: when you get older, you run out of breath a lot faster. That's why dancing is good for the cardio, and I still enjoy doing it. I love doing things on the computer that's challenging and building things with my hands. I love to read good books and listen to music when I have the chance (lately, that's not often). I love my children, grandchildren, and making memories with family and friends.

Music:

I've always loved Earth, Wind & Fire since I was young. I do love great music across the board. My most "recent" favorite song happens to be Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. I listen to a lot of different type music.

Movies:

My favorite movies from the old school would be THE WIZARD OF OZ and IMITATION OF LIFE. I enjoyed GHOST with Whoopi Goldberg and Demi Moore. THE MATRIX was really good. FINDING NEMO stands out in my mind (I have grandchildren). I like to laugh so funny movies are on my list if they're really funny (and not corny funny).

Television:

Project Runway, Ugly Betty, Boston Legal, America's Next Top Model

Books:

Even though I write fiction, I really love books that inspire. I'm a huge nonfiction reader. Anything that will make life better and heighten my experience through life's journey. When I read fiction, I like a story that's not necessarily predictable and I love them to be written well.

Heroes:

It really would have to be my mother. My mother has proven that it doesn't matter where you come from or what you had or didn't have in life, with determination and God on your side, there's nothing a person can't accomplish.
