The Dr Spacetoad Experience

Hello - I am Dr Spacetoad - and you my friend are one of the very first visitors to this, my first (and might I say rather spectacular) MySpace attempt.
My first step onto the showbiz ladder was in Norfolk where I was in a teenage punk band called the Toads, and jolly good they were too. Unfortunately bands like the Damned and The Soft Boys (good as they were) were more popular than us so before too long I changed my style and became the wandering minstrel that I am today.
I am often to be found entertaining the patrons of some of the more select bars and restuarants in my home town of Paris with my solo acoustic music, but occasionally I return to the UK and join up with my old comrades in the Dr Spacetoad Experience (my second, and last attempt at being in a band) who play what I can only describe as full on 70's festival music - a mix of Hawkwind and T-Rex if you can imagine that!
And please allow me to tell you about my forthcoming gig on the 10th of Feb, 2007 at the Hobgoblin, London rd, Brighton. Er, it will be starring ME.... and of course it will be AMAZING!
Oh, and I suppose I must mention that the 'Experience' will be performing as well and probably attempting to hijack my beautiful songs onto some cosmic jazz rock trip or other through time and space - while Mr Sensible will no doubt add a huge dollop of punk chaos to the proceedings. But my marvellous talent will shine through of course, have no fear.
