About Me

Laurence AKA Zion Linguist started his career in the psytrance scene at the early age of 15 playing alongside some of South Africa's top acts. Now at the tender age of 21 he is part owner of one of South Africa’s Freshest labels, MMD Records (Mind Manipulation Device Rec.) and is also involved in a side project with Afrogalactic Records, alongside Frozen Ghost and DJ Wobblz, called Sworn. He hopes, through his label, to release cutting edge psytrance written for the twilight hours of any party, and through his own music, rock the body and bend the mind! Zion Linguist is hard at work on his second solo album, the debut Zion Linguist album entitled "Subliminal Message" was released in January this year. Zion Linguist has also had single releases on MMD Records, afrogalactic records, Vision Records, One Foot Groove Records and has more upcoming releases with Secret Psyde, Orb, Vision, and MMD Records soon !Zion Linguist "Twisted Radio" Live @ MMD Records Album Launch
