DJ Asura

DJ Asura is Hugo Guilherme Santos from Portugal. Lives near Lisbon since he was born in 1981.Ever since he was young that he has been connected to music. Started playing guitar at the age of 13 and drums at 14. A big fan of heavy metal and electronic music that got connected with psychedelic music since his first psy party in january 1999 (Good Mood).Started mixing in 2001 and played at his first “big party” back in 2003, a Full Moon Culture party with artists as “Chris Organic” and “Miraculix”.He has played at many small/medium parties in Portugal with artists such as “Menog, Dark Psy, Suria, Clock Wise, Tryambaka, D_maniac, Quantum Leap, Boogieman, Palex, dj Pina, dj Juggler and many many more.Guilherme plays mostly Dark Full On and Full On but he also plays Progressive trance, Minimal and Electro always in VS with dj Progbeats (www.myspace.com/djprogbeats).
