A Londoner based in Los Angeles, she arranges and plays strings for rock and electronic music, and makes soundtracks. Always heartfelt and soul-driven, her music is fresh, original and strong.
Mee's arranged and played strings for Brett Anderson (Suede London), Alabama 3 (The Sopranos), Asian Dub Foundation, Tiesto and MJ Cole. She's played electric violin for Jane's Addiction and Elton John, and for the English National Opera.
She composes for multimedia applications such as DVD menus, trailers, titles and the web, and was a judge for the British Animation Awards.
Mee's composed synched music for internationally acclaimed TV series 'Lonely Planet Guides', BBC's award-winning series 'Trouble at the Top' and 'Correspondent', prime time Channel 4 UK series 'Crime Team', plus strings for BBC's 'Fame Academy'.
Mee's gigged and traveled around the world, including London, New York, Paris, Delhi, Cairo, Quito and Tokyo, and everywhere in between.
Her music naturally draws on these unique experiences, generating the stylistic diversity that's such a strength when it comes to soundtracks, and bringing her trademark contemporary sound to her strings.
