Myspace LayoutsLuke is an accordionist, composer and music educator. He performs and broadcasts with the poet and presenter Ian McMillan and with the Southern European folk group 'Szapora!'
He has toured across Britain with the Tea Hodzic Trio; and his work with the Carver Trio has been broadcast (live and recorded) on the award-winning Late Junction programme on radio 3, as well as on national radio stations on the continent.
Classical commissions have included work for the London Philharmonia, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and Welsh National Opera.
He also writes for theatres, including several shows at the Sheffield Crucible, where he lives.
A recent commission for BBC radio 4 was broadcast on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day 2006.
He also enjoys leading music workshops in schools, hospitals, community centres, nurseries and homes for the elderly.His recordings are available at:www.taithrecords.co.uk
