About Me

The first thing I crocheted was a Chee-to

I crochet because...I confused it with macrame at the bookstore and bought a book of really cool patterns...I have cable for the first time in 10 years, and I needed something productive to do while I watch Comedy Central...there's an endless variety of patterns, and they conform easily to my creative imaginings...it's something that I can do while supervising a roomful of troubled teens at my day job...if I learn it now, when I'm 90 I'll be the best crocheter in the nursing home...it's cheaper than therapy...it's a good topic of conversation...yarn shopping is fun...
