Cacophony was a neo-classical band featuring guitar virtuosos Marty Friedman(Megadeth) and Jason Becker(David Lee Roth Band). They released two amazing albums Speed Metal Symphony in 1987 and Go Off! in 1988. In those two albums some of the greatest neo-classical pieces of all time were released such as "Concerto" and "Speed Metal Symphony". After the album Go Off! the band disbanded. Marty Friedman eventually got the gig with Megadeth. Marty Friedman now plays in Japan where he just released his new solo album "LoudSpeaker". Jason Becker after Go Off! eventually ended up recording an album with David Lee Roth. It was then that Jason Becker was diagnosed with ALS. Jason Becker still lives today and amazingly is working on a brand new album. Please help support Jason Becker.
