I do apologise for the quality. They were recorded at home...we'll be sorting out some studio time soon hopefully and all will be rectified. (Oh yeah....and just for copywriters, 'Dirty Diana' is a project of a song written by Michael Jackson, slaughtered by us!!!) ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------- About me…? Well, what is there to say? I love music, that’s the first and foremost! I am into as many different styles as I can appreciate and try and experiment with as many different styles as my brain and fingers allow me to! My greatest love has to be Rock or Metal! Energy, power and everything else that comes with it…and the most beautiful thing about it, is the versatility of it all…It’s like mixing and matching…Wanna try it with this? Do it!!! I also have great love for the other side of the musical world. And if I don’t really like something (like the way I used to feel for Jazz) give it time and I will usually come around…the concept has to grab my attention, then alas, it’s all down hill from there! Eventually music all becomes one and there are no boundaries…(except for some very obvious exceptions!). Although Metal and Rock, Goth and Industrial are musical styles I grew up with, they are not areas that dominate my style or the way I see and try to write music myself. Yes, I listen to them in my spare time and jump around my room with it blaring away whilst playing guitar along with it as loud as possible, but it is not the main influence of what I play...to be entirely honest, I’m not really sure what is. It varies from week to week and month to month. A short time ago it was Latin and Spanish, the beautiful world of Flamenco rhythms and beats that can scare you with its complexity. Then it turned to a more jazz based sound, incorporating sudden stops and leaps of intervals. At the moment it appears to be more structured around the stylings of Eric Roche, Preston Reed, Michael Hedges (although unfortunately nowhere near as beautiful as the music that they create/have created). Apart from working and music, I just wanna have fun and enjoy myself...meet strange and interesting people who can change and distort the way you see the world around you...I think it's always good to get a different perspective....maybe sometimes you see that you were not actually looking at the whole picture...or maybe not hard enough...? ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------
