Promyk Zamojski

Born May 28, 1988 in the city of Krakow in Southwestern Poland, Promyk Zamojski is a guitarist known for his fast playing, intricate techniques, and intensely melodic style. He alleges to have had four years of classical piano training before receiving his first guitar, a 1980’s Jackson Dinky, which he used to help him master the various techniques and styles used by many professional guitarists today. Two years later, at age 16, critics claim Zamojski to be an equal match for the talents of Yngwie Malmsteen, a world famous neo-classical guitarist known for his technical proficiency in vibrato techniques, fast play, sweep picking, and guitar renditions of classical music. Zamojski has a highly independent spirit in setting out to make music to nobody else’s standards but his own, and as a result has been pushing the envelope for as long as he has been composing music. At the age of 17, he has invented what he calls the shred-sweep, a technique that integrates sweeping arpeggios while shredding down a scale all at once. This technique may also employ legato and hammer-on pull-off maneuvers if desired. It is believed that this dynamic invention will revolutionize the rapidly evolving world of all forms of metal and other forms of guitar play.
