John- Basically john does lead vocals and the other guitarist, grew up listening to lots of Vietnamese country music and pop due to parents, then starting getting into rock then that mutated into metal and hardcore which is right now. Uses imitation Allan strat, squire strat, and silvertone flying v apocalypse. started playing guitar about one year ago and a half, and started singing since a child. favorite bands include trivium, killswitch engage, children of bodom, as I lay dying, and winter solstice.
Tim - I didn’t actually start drumming till about 2 years ago, I had
played bass before, and a little guitar, but when I sat behind the set I felt at home, I started out by playing along with cd’s nirvana, black Sabbath, zztop, dokken shit like that, then I found a guitar player to play with, I played with cash for 9 months before we decided to look for a bass player that was my first band, and from them on I’ve always been in a band. Drums are everything to me, I am luck enough to be sponcered by TAYE drums, they make great drums that look as great as they sound, and I used zildjian, sabian and sliken cymbals . My all time fav band would be Iron Maiden, then I’d be Dream Theater, Redemption, Symphony X, The Human Abstract, Gentle Giant, Fate’s Warning im really into progressive, but them some of my fav. Bands are Arch Enemy, Into Eternity, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Children Of Bodom, As I Lay Dying,
Jim- I didn't start to get into music till like 7th/8th grade. Of course I would listen to the old rock oldies w/ my mom in the car when I was younger like The Beatles and Guns 'N' Roses. Ya know stuff like that. One of the first bands I was introduced to was Good Charlotte and Blink 182 by my old elementary school friends. That opened me up to even more punk music then I met my friend Nathan who introduced me to Linkin Park and shortly after I found The Used. And so on and so forth. I love the energy and aggresivness of metal and hardcore music and it's also a good way to let out anger for me. I just love the sound of the heavy guitar and heavy screaming. To me that's the best sound in the world.
