About Me

november 2003. job franken and bram bergs have the wish to form a new band. they start hunting for other bandmembers and so they find themselves, jan willem franken and max majorana. after one month, the group has made a start with two finished songs. the four members, bram (bass), jan willem (keyboards), job (drums) and max (vocals), ask chris to participate on guitar. still, after two weeks and two new songs this doesn't seem to have been the right idea, due to different musical views. after having spotted ruud guldemond, who then plays both in 'de vrouw van joÃ£o' and 'the lyrious', playing at a highschool music event,he is being introduced to the group. for some reason, bram bergs leaves one day after that decision's made. it takes one month of playing rock 'n roll music without a bassplayer to realise that there's a feeling of great emptiness. derek taal joins the group on bass and soon evolves to be a solid member. the final collision is now a founded fact after all. from april 2004, the missing coins start off their mission to conquer the great city of bergen op zoom. in may 2004, when max improves his tambourine skills, the light at the end of the tunnel starts getting even brighter. in six months, the amount of songs increases from seven onto thirteen. missing coins then play a private gig in a calfven backyard. one month later, without giving out any signals of xenophobia, the group plays her songs at local bar 't slik. this turns out to be a succes. the show has engouraged the missing coins to keep moving forward and make music for all sorts of people. big people, little people. we don't give a fuck about your weight.

Demo almost finished!

We've recorded 5 songs and they're almost finished. Next week 3 of us will go and finish the final mix. until then: enjoy the 'rough' version. love. missing coins...

We are planning to record our songs in december. so untill then this myspace will not be updated. please check again in december. hopefully then we have better recordings of (in our opinion) better so...
