About Me

abandnamedbob
Belgium, Gent, June, summer of 2006, a memorable moment, the birth of another best next thing. Those days Bob was an experimental (read: in search of their own style) band, consisting 2 guitars, drums and vocals. A playlist of 10 songs got created in less than two months. The first rave-like gig found place in a dark and smokefilled room in the back of a smelly bar that was about 30 square meters 'big'. The kind of people that had shown up was probably more interested in Pretty Disturbed (a 4-girls-pink-punkband that gigged with us) than in a band that had called themselves Bob. [abandnamedbob] has played the most marginal places and this had the consequence that the drummer had to leave the band. Only two guitars, the weird band name, 10 songs and the friendship (
