I started playing keyboards when i was 9, moving into piano a year later and after 2 years i found that the piano, the analog/real thing was more of my passion. You can never replace the sound wood produces.. ;-) I stayed in a combo for a few years, accomponying 3 choirs, which helped me understand melodic and harmonic music styles. I never really understood the concept and possibilities of music untill i was about 17/18 yrs old, 'till then i only played songs i liked, not too much interest in theory or composing. However i already played in a few bands and wrote a few songs. Abominabilis was the first band that got out of the rehearsalroom and we had some nice gigs, won a bandcompetition, but it wasn't really my kinda music (black melodic metal) so i quit that band. Progressive rock is more my thing... ^^ After that my musical interest weakenend, but i regained my spirit and went to the Herman Brood Academie, auditioned and was accepted with a 10! The songs made by the band Severin are the result of the first year. Gradualately this seemed not to be an education worthwile for me so i quit and proceeded with writing songs and got introduced with Fusion. I'm currently working on some spacy/brittish pop songs in a project called Pliggy (with Igee Dieudonne), and making fusion inspired by Weather Report and Hiromi. Since 2yrs i'm using synthesizers and totally into that, i looooooove Logic and the wonderous world of midi! I'm now preparing for the conservatory and expanding my horizon as much as possible.
