Hey there.
I am Leon Sibum and I am a 20 year old musician. I live in Boskoop, Holland - that's a town near Gouda (Gouda cheese..? Anyone?). I play the drums and the guitar and I also write music for my band. My roots are mostly Rock and Pop, but I like to play other styles of music too. For example: HipHop, Funk, Punk and sometimes Metal.
When I was twelve years old I started playing drums, and since I was 14 I've played in a Pop/Rock band called Crimson Sky.
My influences are Chad Smith, John Bonham, Simon Phillips and Dave Grohl, so I think you can imagine what I sound like.
I have played guitar since I was 14. At first I just fiddled around a little, but now I consider myself a serious player. My influences are John Mayer, Eric Johnson and Michael Landau.
I go to school at the Herman Brood Academie in Utrecht. My main discipline is drums. At the Academy you are educated about working in the music business, and I love it! I got to know lots of nice people and made some new friends.
