Marek Dusil & Youngblood

About Marek Dusil & Youngblood:Marek Dusil started writting his songs as young as 16. In those days he played just for himself at home. After his return from the military service, together with his sister and mother, they founded a family folk band. They stayed in this constellation from 1987 to 1990 when his sister left and began singing with another band. After this break-up, Marek was free, and he fancied making music again. Just at that time he met up with another songwritter Lubos Kratky, and they set-up a folk-rock duo. From the kick-off they made songs only with two guitars (acoustic and electric), but, when new technologies came in, they started using half- playback. In 2000 their album MEZI VLNAMI (BETWEEN WAVES) went out and this was end of their cooperation. They both headed their own ways. Marek wanted a live band, and in 2001 the first vesrion of Youngblood was born. In that year they recirded their first promo-record OTISK DUSE (PRINT OF SOUL). Later, the second guitarist changed, and another album was recorded on 2003 under the acoustic promo record name UNPLUGGED SPRING. Song NENAPSANÁ (UNWRITTEN) was the TOP two in May 2003 on Radio Proglas. However, this band split up in 2004. After that Marek recorded in production of famous Czech drummer --tepán Smetácek another promo-record KLID (PEACE). When the recording was finished, a new band was formed, which in terms of the musicians hasn´t changed till today. MAREK DUSIL- el.and acoustic guitar, vocal, BANY TOMÁ--EK- el.and acoustic guitar, vocal, PAVEL MATYÁ--- bass, vocal, ALE-- KONDÝSEK- drums. Marek plays not only with a band, but, from time to time performs alone, aa a classical songwritter, only with an acouctic guitar, or in a couple, with guitarist Bany Tomá--ek. Their songs are softer and more crisp than with a band.
