My name is Maria Alexander, and I merely offer my talents as a dark fiction writer, who has been published with some acclaim since 2000. I've bruised the pages of well-known publications such as Gothic.net , Chiaroscuro Magazine and Paradox Magazine , as well as anthologies too numerous to list. I'm also a produced screenwriter, a game designer, and a well-published poet. In 2004, I was a winner of the AOL Time-Warner "Time to Rhyme" poetry competition with "The Rage of Her Return."
I'm a scrotum-tearing, heart-breaking, blaspheming, sword-wielding femme with more than a casual eye for violence and the macabre. I used to adore Lovecraft; I now love Phillip Pullman. I was once handless , but not any more.And I write. A lot.
