Hello,I'm Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor. I was born February 27, 1932 in Hampstead (London) in the United Kingdom. My parents were from the states, as my father was in London at the time of my birth, setting up his antique business. My mother was an actress but gave up the profession after my birth. We moved to Los Angeles when I was seven years of age. I have appeared in over 70 films on the silver screen and television. My first foray into acting was "there's one born every minute". I also starred and appeared in:Julia Misbehaves (1947), Conspirator (1949), Father of the bride, Father's little dividend, A place in the sun, Raintree Country, The Sandpiper, Taming of the shrew, The White Cliffs of Dover, Giant, The mirror crack'd, Who's afraid of Virginia Wolf?, Divorce his, divorce hers, Cleopatra, Cat on a hot tin roof, Butterfield 8....Just to name a few. I have been betrothed numerous times: Michael Wilding (1952-1957) Mike Todd (1957) Eddie Fisher (1959-1964) Richard Burton John Warner (1976-1982) Larry Fortensky (1991-1996)I am presently involved in my ETAF. "Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation". Our mission is to provide monetary assistance for research into the cure for AIDS and HIV. We have raised over nine million dollars for research and development of a cure for the cause. Any donations will be graciously accepted.
