About Linda J Hutchinson, the writer

About Me

I'm a full-time freelance writer and copywriter, living in central Ohio with my adoring and wonderful husband, our owner/operator truck-driving son (who's also quite wonderful--and single), and our middle-aged one-eyed cat.To find out more about me visit: www.lindajhutchinson.com, http://writerschatroom.com, http://lindajhutchinson.blogspot.com, www.lindajhutchinson.com/blog, http://reviewhutch.blogspot.comI write for newspapers, magazines, websites, newsletters, anthologies, and other online and print publications. A children's book, an ebook for newbie writers, and a novel are in process.

My Interests

Interviewing writers who have made or are making their mark on the world. I'm currently writing non-fiction, but ache to get back to fiction. Oil painting, furniture building, home decoration/renovation, and my family are always good for diversions .

I'd like to meet:

Writers and readers, those connected with publishing (NOT subsidy or vanity press!), and friends with like interests.

Music:

Anything country, jazz, R & B, some pop.

Movies:

Action without a lot of gore and those I want to watch 3 or 4 times to catch all the nuances. I like funny, serious, breath-taking, and controversial themes.

Television:

Survivor, NCIS, CSI (the original).

Books:

Anything by Earl Emerson! Illona Haus is emerging as one to read if you like mystery/suspense. Martin Cruz Smith, Bruce Cook, Dean Koontz.

Heroes:

My grandparents, Cecil and Ruth Kramer. My Dad, Don Kramer. (All these real heroes are gone now.)
