.. ..This 16 year old Connecticut native began singing at the age of 8 under the advice of a friend who said it would help her asthma. Who could have known that this simple act would uncover such a big, beautiful voice with a 4+ octave range! She has performed locally for several years now, stunning audiences with her mature sound, and has been honored by the Connecticut Association of Public Schools for Excellence in the Performing Arts. In August 2006, Victoria had the opportunity to travel to California to write and record with Elicit Music's Rob Hoffman and Heather Holley (Christina Aguilera). In a period of six days, she wrote lyrics to and recorded her first three songs: the fun, funky "Excuse Me Boy", the emotional ballad of love and loss "Pages(Again)" and "It Ain't Always Easy" a pop anthem to believing in yourself no matter what. Upon her return home, she started her freshman year of high school. School, however, was not going to stop Victoria from continuing with her recording. February 2007, found her fortunate enough to work with multi-platinum writer/producer Rob Fusari (Destiny's Child, Whitney Houston, Will Smith, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Rowland, etc). The result was her next song “Just Friendsâ€, which was written by Rob. March 2007 gave her the opportunity to work with the phenomenal songwriting/production team of Deb Ferrara (debferrara.com) and Askold Buk (askoldbuk.com). The song "Miracle", an uplifting power ballad about the miracles we all hold within ourselves, was written by Askold, Deb and artist April Start (www.myspace.com/aprilstartsmusic). April 2007(Spring Break) and she was back in California again; This time to work with amazing producer/songwriter/vocalist Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees, SURESHOT, VH-1 show MISSION: MANBAND). Jeff and Victoria recorded their duet "Head Over Heels" at California Sound Studios and had a blast doing it! Freshman year ended on a sad note for Victoria; she lost her biggest fan-- her grandfather. But the joy and pride he took in her singing and hard work made her even more determined to keep recording. June 2007 found her back in the studio again with producer extraordinaire, Rob Fusari. Her song, “You Don’t Even Knowâ€, written by Rob and Makeba, shows her soulful R&B side.
In July 2007, Sweden called and Victoria responded by boarding a plane to record three new songs with PAMA Records . Currently a junior in High School, she continues to write, perform and record, purposefully striding toward her future.*****************************************************
