Hi Everyone!
Ahhh, finally… So, like three centuries after the hype of MySpace has died off I’m ready to sign on! The humour in that can’t be denied. But what also can’t be denied is that old saying ”better late than never” which I choose as my truth of the day…
For all of you that have stumbled on to this here little place of mine I do think that you’ll like what you hear. As a songwriter, whatever genre I may be working in, I always focus on the melody and how it ”speaks” to the listener. Since music, in my book, does not communicate with the logic side of brain but with the emotional one – or the heart if you like. To prove my point; think of a piece of music that you really like and then dwell on it for a while, then check your own body for responses. You will probably find yourself smiling and perhaps moving to that inside beat – cool huh?
Well, have you seen any success then – you might wonder. Hmmm what to answer… I would consider myself a B-list writer as far as credit goes, but with A-list claims and A-list songs (OK, that sounded a bit conceited, but hey you don’t get points for being low key in this world – no pun intended). My CV as a writer include a #1 album (Sweden 2006), several top listed singles, Eurovision finals in various countries and I have had artists from Australia to Canada record my songs. So, yeah, I’m getting there but I’m not satisfied…
