About Me

It was a dark and stormy night... ok. It wasn't, but at least it's a beginning, eh?
(spoken in a dramatic tone) The year was 1993... From the failed ashes of a slightly retarded concept band called Dynachrome, the bass player - Burnt Carnage, and guitar player - LiableMoreThanLikable, rose to found the band BOMF! in the formerly great City of Roses. BOMF! quickly added a second guitar player and a drummer and proceded to rise amongst the ranks of the Portland elite punk bands before splitting town for the sunny and miserable ghetto known as Sacramental... I mean, Sacrademento... I mean, Sacramiserable... oh, forget it! You get the idea anyway.
For 2 long years, BOMF! slugged it out with the uberhip and ultravegan Sacrashithole punk scene before packing it in and returning to their rightful place in Portland. It was back in Portland where BOMF! finally found their sound with the addition of Big Scotty (Motherload, Elmer, SK & The Punk Ass Bitches) and a bevvy of drummers who followed in the years after returning to the City of Roses (Dylan, Mel the Plumber, Little Stevie and Drew Scarymore). From 1995 until the demise of the band in mid 1999, BOMF! toured the country and played a myriad of local shows with such greats as Elmer, The Delinquents (PDX), The Business, 800 Octane, Zeke, Witch Throttlegush, and Warzone. Post band break up, the members of BOMF! went on to play in a variety of local bands including: Muddy River Nightmare Band, SK and the Punk Ass Bitches, 800 Octane, All Out, Trophy Wife and Diamond Tuck.
While the band may have finally been put down, the members have talked about bringing it back, not completely unlike a Christ on the 3rd day (or in this case, the 3000th day). Mostly, the boys talk about rolling thier massive carcasses on stage if only to exercise some demons and to play some sing-songy chant along fast paced punk rock and to booze it up with the old crew (you know who you are!).
It's official... We now have CD's for sale. 6 years, 32 songs, $6 shipped in the US... .
