Rockin' The Joint are a popular four piece Rock n Roll band, already well established on the national scene.
They like to tackle the various styles that developed within the Rock 'n' Roll genre- from the US Rockabilly style through R&B influenced harder edged material, the British beat, to harmony filled Doowop, and classics from Bill Haley, Johnny Burnette and Elvis.
Their repertoire includes some obscure but nonetheless danceable material from that era, along with the stuff from more contemporary artists who have continued to develop the style of music like the Stray Cats for instance.
A large sprinkling of their set lists is flavoured with the Jive beat – ever popular and seemingly on the increase in the popularity as Jive clubs are springing up everywhere.
The Band consists of two guitars, drums, and the all essential ingredient for authentic 50's music – a slap bass.
Everyone in Rockin' The Joint sings – all take lead vocals, and harmonies are a strong feature of their sound.
