About Me

Hi I'm Rob, 46 years old, live in Birtley County Durham, UK. My love for rockin' music began when i was about 15 and i heard Bill Haley's "Birth of the Boogie" and thought, now that's music. Bill's music has always been special to me and he, along with the comets, will always be my no 1. Along with my wife, Michelle we run Newtown Rock 'N' Roll club. The club is held every fortnight at Newtown Social Club, Durham Road Stockton-On-Tees. (check out http://www.myspace.com/newtownrocknroll) Its only a quid to get in on record hop nights and you are guarenteed a great night of REAL rockin' music. non of this new country shite that's flooding the scene, no "T-Rex" and definately no effing "Billy Ocean" (you'll never believe what some of the "so called" rockin clubs play up here!!
