I am about 3 years old and, as you can expect with looks like mine, a popular sort of rouge. If I were a human Sylvia says I would have been hoodie, a gang boy and yes a thief! (I like to think of myself as more like Robin Hood.)As Malarkie has found better accomodation these days, I shall be taking over his blog writing, although I am sure this will be a temporary honour as it can't possibly be long until I too am living in 5 star accomodation.(although it IS very good here!!)
I do have a little trouble with authority but I can cope - I just ignore it! I am not rude or bad tempered to people but due to my lack of size I can be a little goby to big canine dudes. I am lucky enough to have been born with an extra sense which enables me to detect and locate small furry creatures anywhere. One day I got out of a car in a town I did not know and YES I smelt a little critter. I was off down a street with all in hot pursuit and yes I found a ferret! I would have finished him but got pulled away just in time (lucky little thing, I thought!). I used to live in a situation where I was a latch key dog, I did the rounds, rubbish, girls, bit of stealing - you know, Then people complained so I stated to have to dodge the dog wardens and that's where my hatred of men in black cames from.
Sylvia reckons I just need a firm fair hand and she is probably right. Anyway she says I can write the blogs for the next few weeks. I am, however, not the sheriff and sadly have no special position - I am just a homeless fellow - looking like all the others here for that special home.
I share my kennel with various girls who come and go - all of who fancy me like hell!! Each night Silvia chats so I am pretty clued up on what goes on here.
The strain of running this place is huge!!!! We miss the Sheriff as he helped so much but we are also so pleased he's happy in his new home. So now it's up to me to write when I can. In the meantime I will try a little stealing from the rich to give to the poor - you know all the things I like: pigs ears, chews, toys etc and that sweet smelling stuff to put in the water (Zoflora). It makes our kennels smell like roses.

PS: If you think you might like to adopt me - indoors give me an easy chair, slippers and a chew, - oh and a good movie and I am so happy, well behaved and content - it's just when I'm out that I can be a bit of a lad!
