Micke and Tom both from the Swedish punkband Warpigs started the band early 1982. Micke had played guitar with The Oids (see more about them at: myspace/oids) and Tom did a single with the short living power pop band The Students. Both Tom and Micke was huge New york dolls fans and also into bands like Generation X, The Boys and Hollywood brats. The recorded a 4-track demo in Radio Stockholms studio. The producer was a heavy drinker and a very clumsy person so after the recording session he used the original master tape for another session. The only existing copies are some cassette tapes with little disturbance. Hollywood boys did several gigs and also did a live recording on Video wich was very unusual for a Swedish indie band in 1982. Hollywood boys split up in 1984. Micke and Tom have resently formed a new band together with bass player Peter Mattsson from the legendary glampunkers President gas.
