I'm 43 years old. Born in March 1963, two months after Charlie Watts joined the Stones. My first musical experience was Beatles (I sang "She loves you" in the bath tube when I was 2 years old) The Monkeys, the Swedish beat group Ola & The Janglers (Who had a big hit in '68 with let’s dance). In 1970 my mother bought home Janis Joplin’s Pearl album and she also bought me a compilation album by Credence Clearwater revival that blow me away. In the early 70's I started to find my own music. The Sweet, Sparks, T-rex, Slade, Mott the Hoople, Alice Cooper, Bowie, Kiss. In 1976 some elder friends told me about Eddie and the hot rods and some other ugly bands from England. In the late 70's still at high school the Punk made its entrance. That was my thing! Remember the first time I heard the Pistols. Man! That was a shock and I loved it. The same year I bought a compilation album on the Supermarket called “New waveâ€. On the cover was a punk spitting beer at the camera. Wow that was so cool. On the album where bands like Dead boys, The New York dolls, Patti Smith, Little bob story and some more and forgotten. In the summer of 1977 a friend and I cut our hair and colour it red. Cut some holes in our t-shirts and went down to the city centre. It did not take a long time before what we in Sweden called Raggare shown up and tried to beat us up.Raggare is, and has been, since the 50's people into 50's music, old cars etc. The same year we put together our first band. Slitage. We mostly played Ramones songs. Between 1978 and 1980 I sang in a band called Warpigs. We recorded two songs for the compilation album "Drag utan droger". When Warpigs split up I went on to play in Oids and a band called Hollywood boys. Between 1985 and 1987 I was in a sleazy rock band called Hangover. We played some club gigs and also did a gig in Finland. After the split up I quit music. In 1989 I had my first daughter and that become a new period in life.
