Softkey Left softkey Right
I was born in South Wales, but moved to Derbyshire at the age of 14. I left school with no qualifications, but returned to 'school' at the age of thirty and completed a 2.1 hons degree in Humanities and Literature.
I'm a published writer, and when I'm not writing I work as a volunteer adviser at a Citizens Advice Bureau, which is a British charity that gives free legal advice to those who can't afford to pay.
I have two children, a boy and a girl, and am grandmother to three beautiful girls. I live in the Peak District with my husband and 4 West Highland White terriers.
I've been writing for a long time now and have had work included in two Accent Press Sexy Shorts... anthologies, a bewrite anthology and Womanscapes, an anthology of extraordinary women. I've also been published in various magazines and newspapers in the UK and US.

Anne Neville - Kitchenmaid Queen There is a little known historical rumour that Anne Neville, wife of Richard III, was hidden as a kitchenmaid in a chophouse by her cousin and brother-in-law, George, Duke of Clarence. This was apparently done in order to keep her from Richard and gain control of the Earl of Warwick?s land and titles. What is certain is that the tragic Anne spent her whole life as a political pawn in the power games played by her father, brother-in-law and husband. This story imagines her time in the chophouse and whether she found a freedom denied to her in her normal life. She's Leaving - Women On The Move This is a collection of four short stories about women going places. Sometimes the journey is physical, sometimes it?s spiritual. Often it?s both. The stories featured are Living In A Box, A Camel Called Michael, Goodbye Queen Bea and The Front Door. One is humorous, three are poignant. The final story, The Front Door is true and is about my own physical and spiritual journey away from a childhood home marred by domestic violence.Tomorrow's Child - Part One - Tomorrow's Child - Part Two - Tomorrow's Child - Part Three By popular request, Vinnie d?Este is back! Anthony Waugh and John W Cassell asked if I?d write a follow up to Valla?s Secret, so how could I resist. In this follow up to Valla?s Secret, Vinnie must find two children, Beth and Naz, who have gone missing from a Rome orphanage. Thinking it is a simple job of tracing missing persons, he enlists Rachel Cohen?s help but all is not as it seems and the Church has sinister reasons for wanting the children?s return. A serial in three parts. Mary Daniels' End Game - Part One.. - Mary Daniels' End Game - Part Two .. - Mary Daniels' End Game - Part Three .. - Mary Daniels' End Game - Part Four .. - Mary Daniels' End Game - Part Five .. - Mary Daniels' End Game - Part Six .. - Mary Daniels' End Game - Part Seven .. If you do the crime you have to do the prime time! It is 2095 and the highest ranking show is Mary Daniels? End Game, where contestants vie for the right to execute convicted criminals under the imperious eye of former First Lady Mary Daniels. Meanwhile an FBI agent, a cop, and a vulnerable boy languish on death row, all convicted of crimes they didn?t commit. When one is executed before time and two are chosen for End Game, the race is on to find out the truth about the real perpetrators of the crimes and to bring down the sick show. A serial in seven parts.

Heroes:

Stephen King Frederick Forsyth Charles Dickens Wilkie Collins Agatha Christie
