Born in Plymouth, still live there with my two terrific sons Robbie and Dominic.

I work in Land Registration and write in my spare (hah!) time. Published with short stories in both hardback and paperback (see slideshow above the Seth Lakeman one) as well as online, I'm now moving into full length fiction and searching for an agent - a familiar cry! I don't really 'do' poems but there is one below the Richard Marx live video that I felt was short enough to post here.

*I will add authors but not books, and I don't add companies/organisations.

*I hate pointless bulletins; people telling me they’re going to bed, or they’re annoyed about something, or have a new questionnaire to ignore! And if I don’t reply to ones that tell me I’m either heartless or doomed to a crappy life if I don’t, please bear in mind … I don’t care. It’s chain/junk mail for My Space, nothing more or less. Doesn’t mean I don’t like you, just means I can’t be arsed, and even if I could be, you wouldn’t read it. Bulletins are for telling me things you think I may actually be interested in, like a success in your life, family news, or maybe a new book/painting/gig … If you’re a serial bulletin-er, please remove me from your list now and save us all a lot of aggravation.

*I’m not a grumpy old bag even though I sound like it sometimes!

*I have a massive appreciation of British Comedy; we have a wonderful group of men and women with wit and intelligence that never fail to hit the spot. Videos further down the page that prove my point admirably! ....

*I am also a huge fan of US singer/songwriter/producer-to-the-stars Richard Marx. Below the British comedy videos is one of Richard answering a question of mine in his very first "Ask Richard" video section. There is also a video here of an amazing new version of his rock hit: Don't Mean Nothin' - all bluesed up for the Duo shows with Matt Scannell. This was taken - not by me - at Lincolnshire, Illinois in June 08.
