About Me

The Los Angeles Black Book Expo is an annual literary event spotlighting African-American and other authors of color since 2004. In 2008, we were honored to have authors, writers and poets from all over the country attend our event.

We're here to network and promote our event as well as several other literary events in California. We invite authors, artists and potential sponsors on board with us to build one of the biggest literary venues on the West Coast.

Plans are underway for our fifth anniversary in 2009 with more features to be announced. Authors and exhibitors who are interested in being a part of our special event please contact us here at the Space.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We are continuously looking for authors who attended LABBX in the past, but we're also interested in new authors for this year's edition also. At the present time, we're interested in spoken word artists, potential sponsors, entertainers, other artists, and of course, the reading public.
