This is the moment...

About Me

I'm an actress, writer, mom, dancer and overly creative person. It's a tiring life, but I love every bit of it! I belong to Murder Mystery Players, performing in interactive murder mystery dinner theatre around town (see my calendar for dates), as well as the alternative bellydance troupe Lunatic Vagabonds. My film/tv credits include: InZer0 (the series and the feature), Cadence, New Directions, Red River, Divided and I'm in pre-production for the feature film Harmless Thoughts. Anything else you want to know? Message me and ask! NOTE: READ BELOW IF YOU WANT TO BEFRIEND ME! NO READ, NO FRIEND.

What Mary Means
You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated. You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want. You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way!You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in. You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising. You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care. What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?http://collect.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=film maker.convert

My Interests

Acting, writing, reading, stage combat, fencing, belly dance, sewing, beading, knitting and crochet. Generally, if it’s a creative pursuit, I would probably enjoy it.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone involved in writing, theatre, film, or television (especially David Boreanaz because...well...he's hot!). Or belly dance. Amar Gamal, Rachel Brice...and Laurell K. Hamilton. **PLEASE READ: I am NOT into Friend whores, "UR sexy" messages or get rich quick schemes. I want quality on my list...not quantity. SEND ME A MESSAGE and tell me what you have to offer. Give me a GOOD reason why you should be on my Friend list.** Believe it or not, I'm at least aquainted with most of the people on my F-list. Those I'm not had something special to offer. Yeah. I'm that picky.

Music:

Showtunes, movie soundtracks, Smash Mouth, Dendura, Tartanic, Dijilia Phralengo, 80's tunes, big band...heck, I like just about everything.

Movies:

Serenity, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Pirate Movie, Mel Brooks films. There are far too many that I like to list them all here. IZ:FW, Heaven’s Gate, New Directions...the ones I was in. And Cadence. Here’s the trailer!Cadence (2008) Trailer
..

Television:

Joss Whedon is my hero (Buffy, Angel, Firefly...I miss you)! Also, Ghost Hunters (TAPS ROCKS!), Mythbusters, Ninja Warrior and Bones. And the occasional cartoon or anime. Like Voltron, Ranma 1/2 and Danny Phantom. ::ahem:: I don’t get to watch much tv anymore, and I hate having to TViO EVERYthing, because I’d never get caught up. So...it’s gotta be really good to "get" me. Once in a great while, you can also catch me watching home improvement shows like Flip This House or Sell That House.

Books:

Anything by Laurell K. Hamilton (yeah, my guilty pleasure) or Kim Harrison (Rachel Morgan! Woot!), non-fiction books on writing and crafting...a little of everything. Liz Curtis Higgs and her Christian "highland" series, plus LJ Smith's YA books (yeah...I still like them, even after all these years). I've also recently discovered Stephanie Meyer. Very good stuff! Growing up I was a huge "YA Thriller" fan, buying 2-3 books a week and devouring them. Now, reading for the fun of it is a special treat when I'm not studying lines, etc.

Heroes:

People who dream big...then work their butts off to make those dreams come true. People who "defy gravity." My husband, for putting up with me in all of my craziness. My kids, who are just as crazy as I am. People who LIVE. This is, oddly, pretty darn accurate and very much me in a nutshell. What Color Are You?
BLUES are motivated by INTIMACY, seek opportunities to genuinely connect with others, and need to be appreciated. They do everything with quality and are devoted and loyal friends and employers/employees. Whatever or whomever they commit to are their sole (and soul) focus. They love to serve and will give freely of themselves in order to nurture others lives.BLUES, however, do need to be understood. They have distinct preferences and occasionally the somewhat controlling (but always fair) personality of a confident leader. Their code of ethics is remarkably strong and they expect others to live honest, committed lives as well. They enjoy sharing meaningful moments in conversation as well as remembering special life events (i.e., birthdays and anniversaries). BLUES are dependable, thoughtful, nurturing, and can also be self-righteous, a bit worry-prone, and emotionally intense. They are like sainted pit-bulls who never let go of something once they are committed. When you deal with a BLUE, be sincere, make an effort to truly understand them, and truly appreciate them.
