The Center for the Arts is a performing and visual arts venue located at the University at Buffalo. The Center is run by a non-profit organization of dedicated staff, student assistants, and volunteers whose mission is to present a wide range of arts activities for the surrounding community. My Interests

Our range of presentations include professional dance, opera, all genres of music, Broadway musicals and stars, International cultural productions, comedy, speakers, and drama.

In addition to bringing in performers, the Center promotes our local community. We produce a television show spotlighting local musicians and artists, called Music is Art LIVE @ The Center and summer programs for community education in theatrical arts. We annually collaborate with WNED on the North American Rock Guitar Competition .

The Center also houses the University Art Galleries, and the Department of Visual Studies, Department of Media Studies, and Department of Theatre & Dance.

As a rental venue, the possibilities are endless. We've hosted business conferences, private speaker presentations, dance conferences, business reception dinners, gala fundraiser events, graduation ceremonies, dance recitals, and film series, in addition to performing arts promoters.
