Welcome to The 69's Myspace Page!!!!
THE 69's are a 3-piece alternative rock band (though try not to be constrained to one genre!) heavly influnced by bands such as Joy Division, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Verve, Nirvana, Kings of leon, Jeff Buckley, The Cure, The Pixies, The Foo Fighters.. (the list is endless!!!)
Formed in 2006, The 69's consist of Chris Ward (vocals and guitars) brother Matt Ward (drums) and Dean Leaker (bass), the 69s began giggin early 2007, playing such venues as The Shed, The Charlotte, The Roadmender to great acclaim.
The 69's have also won "AK Productions: Battle of the Demos 2007" (thank you very much to all those who voted for us!) For there first EP "Loneliness makes you sick "
The 69's have recently completed recording their new self titled "The 69's [EP]" (sept 2007)A few of our new tracks are uploaded on here for you all to download and burn,If you would like a free copy come see us live sometime.. or alternatively send us a message.. and we shall see what we can do.. (dependant on funds!lol)Theres also other tracks available to download from our website from our first recording "loneliness makes you sick..." and the rest of the new "The 69's [EP]" . UPTATE MUSIC TRACKS FOR UPCOMING [EP] LONLINESSS MAKES YOU SICK HAVE BEEN COMPLETED!!!!!

5 Tracks have been recorded including - "walk away", "the fight", "mind mash", "pump it", "funk me" All thats left to do is add the vocals, mix and produce. ROLL ON CHRISTMASS EVE!!!!!
